About Engineering:

Engineering is the use of science and maths to design or make things. The discipline of engineering encompasses a broad range of more specialized fields of engineering, each with a more specific emphasis on particular areas of applied mathematics, applied science, and types of application.

Engineering as a career has attracted students in India in a big way from the very beginning and a large number of aspirants are taking the engineering. Thus, this is a multi-disciplined field with new and current Industry essential disciplines and branches being added with the advancement of science and technology.

There are a large number of students who appears for this stream after completing their Higher Secondary Education. There have been numerous Entrances being organized for these students by the Central Government as well as the State Government and also at private levels.

Though a large number of students appear for these entrance tests (JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, KIITEE, SRMJEE, etc.) but they lack the knowledge related to the Engineering as a Professional Career.

The core engineering disciplines include Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical. Apart from this, there are diverse disciplines being offered and are popular nowadays: Chemical, Electronics & Tele-Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, etc.
