What is Symbiosis Entrance Test / SET 2023?

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2023) is the university-level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), a private higher educational institution in Pune. The last date to register for SET 2023 is on June 15, 2023 (Wednesday).

SIU is conducting 3 different tests under SET 2023 for its various courses. These include:

1. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2023 General - For Management / Mass Communication / Economics / Liberal Arts / Computer Studies / Infromation Technology / Applied Statistics and Data Science

2. Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2023 - For Law

3. SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) 2023 - : For Engineering

Notably, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is officially accredited and recognized by the University Grants Commission, India. The application form for SET 2023 is now available on the official website of Symbiosis International University. You would be required to follow these mandatory steps to complete your application:

Form Instruction

1. Fill the online registration form. 

2. Make the payment - according to the institute/programme selected via Billdesk Payment Gateway/Indian Bank payment gateway.

3. Offline Payment Option -If you’ve opted for the offline payment, then you will have to draw a Demand Draft in favour of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.

SET 2023 Application Fee

• Symbiosis SET 2023 Application Fee is INR 1950.

• INR 1000 has to be paid for each programme.

• The fee amount is non-refundable.

• The category of candidates has no effect on the fee amount.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2023) registration fee for SLAT/SET General/SITEEE - is Rs. 1950/-. (Non-refundable and non-transferable). You are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for each programme. (Non-refundable and non-transferable)

How to Register for SET 2023?

1.Step by step guide for SET 2023 registrations:

Step 1 - Go online on the website. Please note that the registrations can be done from 25th January (Tuesday), 2023, to 15th June(Wednesday) 2023. 

STEP 2: Now Click on the ‘Register’ button for SET 2023 Registration. 

STEP 3: Click on I Agree for SET 2023 registration. 

STEP 4: Once This page Appears Fill in the details and click on Save & Continue. 

STEP 5: Enter The OTP that you received on your mobile number and press submit for SET 2023 Registration. 

STEP 6: Your ID will be generated and you will be redirected to Payment Gateway. 

STEP 7: Select the exams and Institution that you wish to appear for and Click to pay once you verify the amount. 

STEP 8: Multiple Payment modes are available for online payment. Your registration process comes to an end once you make your payment. 

Note:

1. Register online on the website set-test.org (from January 25,2023 to June 15,2023).

   Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. June 15,2023. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No requests for change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their Online SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 payment.

2. You may register for upto three tests from SET/SLAT/SITEEE.

   Note: For Engineering, if a candidate applies to seek admission on the basis of test other than SITEEE, he/she need not register for SITEEE; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute through the institute website (https://www.sitpune.edu.in/ and https://sitnagpur.edu.in/ ).

3. Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).

4. Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling / submitting the application form is not true, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the management and employees of the Institute will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate

5. All communication with candidates will be done through the official email address (info@set-test.org) only. Please ensure that this email address is whitelisted in your registered email.

Modes of Payments:

Online: Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card

Via Billdesk, Indian Bank payment gateways.

Offline: Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in the "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:

Instructions for filling Symbiosis Entrance Test SET 2023 Application Form

Fill in the SET 2023 application form carefully and keep a tab on these instructions:

1. Any changes in the online application form (except test city preferencesand admission category will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. June 15, 2023 (Wednesday)

2. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances. No requests for change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their online SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 payment.

3. SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 will be conducted in an online mode across 80 cities all over India. A candidate may choose three preferences for test cities.

4. Your photograph should not be more than 100 kb. Failing to scan and upload the photo as per the defined guidelines, will result in the cancellation of candidature.
