WBJEEB will conduct OMR based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2022) for admission in the academic session 2022-23 into Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal.

WBJEEB had released the WBJEE 2022 application form on the official website on December 24, 2021. Candidates could apply online till January 16. Before filling out the application form, students were advised to check the WBJEE 2022 eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities. The authorities also did open the WBJEE 2022 application form correction facility after the conclusion of the registration process.
The concerned authority has released the WBJEE admit card on wbjeeb.in. WBJEE 2022 admit card release date was April 25. However, the admit card has been released on April 22. Students who filled out the application form of WBJEE 2022 within the prescribed time will be issued admit cards for appearing in the examination. To download the admit card, students will have to log in using the application number and password.
WBJEEB conducted the WBJEE 2022 on April 30. The WBJEE 2022 was held as a pen and paper-based test across several test cities of the state and in few cities outside the state. The authorities released the WBJEE 2022 exam date at the official website.
The authorities have released the WBJEE 2022 answer key at the official website. At first, the preliminary answer key was released and students were allowed to raise objections against it. The board had then released a final answer key after considering the objection.
Students will be able to check the WBJEE result 2022 in online mode using their application number. WB JEE 2022 result date is June 17. Students are advised to download their result copy as it will be required at the time of counselling.
Students who will be declared qualified will be eligible to participate in the counselling session. WBJEE counselling will be conducted online wherein candidates will have to fill choices of the desired institute and seats are allotted on the basis of merit in WBJEE

Eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2022 includes restriction on nationality, age, educational qualification, domicile.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Age limit: The lower age limit to appear in WBJEE 2022 is 17 (seventeen) years as on December 31, 2022. In the case of Marine Engineering the lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years, and upper age limit is 25 (twenty five) as on December 31, 2017. Apart from this, there is no upper age limit specified by the board for any of the programs through WBJEE 2022.
Educational qualification: Eligibility criteria with regards to education is again specified separately for candidates who come under GMR and PMR.
GMR candidates – Those who will appear in both Paper I and Paper II
They must have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics both, along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects.
In each of the 3 subjects individually they must have obtained passing marks.
Aggregate marks in the 3 subjects should be 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).
They must have passed English in class 12th with at least 30%.
PMR candidates – Those who will appear in only Paper II
They must have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry both, along with any one of Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects.
In each of the 3 subjects individually they must have obtained passing marks.
Aggregate marks in the 3 subjects should be 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).
They must have passed English in class 12th with at least 30%.
There are certain requirements that the candidates have to meet to be eligible for WBJEE 2022. These conditions and requirements constitute the WBJEE eligibility criteria 2022 released along with the official information brochure. All of the candidates are required to meet the criteria otherwise they might be disqualified from the admission process. Some of the general WBJEE 2022 eligibility criteria are listed below:
· Nationality - Candidates should be of Indian nationality.
· WBJEE 2022 Age Limit - Should be minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2022 or should be born on or before December 31, 2004. There is no upper age limit. But for candidates who are applying for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2022.
· Domicile - Candidates should meet the domicile requirements of the state.
· Educational Qualifications - It is essential that the candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a board recognized by the Central Government or State Government with Mathematics, Physics and any of the following subjects - Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects. The candidates should have also passed these subjects individually.
· Required Marks - General category candidates should have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For reserved categories, the minimum aggregate mark is 40%. Candidates should have also scored minimum 30% marks in English.
