The BCI sets the eligibility criteria for the AIBE 2021 exam pertaining to age limit, qualifying exam, and bar council registration. Only if the candidate meets all of these conditions will he or she be considered for Certificate of Practice.

• Qualifying exam: The applicant must have passed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a BCI-recognized institute.

• Bar council registration: The applicant must be enrolled with their respective State Bar Council.

• Age limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in AIBE 2021 exam

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

AIBE 2023 Application Form

Here, we have provided complete details related to AIBE Application form in the below given section:

• AIBE 2023 Registration will be started through online mode only.
• Students will be able to register through online mode from June 2023.
• Candidates have to register using their personal, qualification, communication, etc. details.
• The online registration process will consist of various steps – Online registration, filling of application details, uploading of images, fee payment & printing of form.
• Last date to submit online application form is till July 2023.
• If in case students have submitted any wrong details or uploaded wrong document, they can get it rectified by mailing the authority along with their registration number but before the release of admit cards.

Application Fee:

• For General /OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.3560.
• For ST/ SC candidates, fee is Rs.2500.
• The application fee is non-refundable in nature.
• Students can make payment of application fee by offline mode only through SBI challan method.

AIBE 2023 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: AIBE will be conducted through offline (pen and paper) mode.
• Type of Questions: There will be multiple choice type of questions in the paper.
• Language of Paper: Students will be able to make choice between 11 languages for attempting the exam.
• Number of Questions: Total of 100 questions will be there in the paper.
• Exam Duration: Time of 3 hours will be provided to solve the paper.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative marking: There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.

Examination will include topics from evidence act, law of torts including motors, intellectual property laws, law related to taxation, specific relief, law of contracts, land acquisition act, properties laws, negotiable instrument act, cyber law, environmental law, public interest litigation, Labour and industrial law, company law, professional ethics and cases of professional misconduct under BCI rules, Indian panel code, alternative dispute Redressal, criminal procedure code and code of civil procedure.
