Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, which is one of the most prestigious universities in India, for admissions to its undergraduate programmes across various Symbiosis colleges.

Admissions to courses such as

  • BBA
  •  BCA
  •  BA Mass Communication
  •  BA/BSC Liberal Arts
  •  BSc Eco/Eco(H)
  •  BSc Culinary ArtS
     are granted after one successfully qualifies the SET exam.

SET test 2021 dates have been changed in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. SET 2021 (A) will be directed for aspirants looking for admission to SSE, SCMC, SSLA, SICSR and SSCA on June 18 and June 19 out of an online administered mode utilizing Human Intelligence and AI. SET (B) will be directed on July 19, 2021 for candidates looking for admission to SCMS Pune, SCMS Noida and SCMS Nagpur in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Answer: The Symbiosis SET 2023 Application Form can be filled till 15th June 2023. 

Question: Can we submit the application from through offline mode?

Answer: No, application form can only be submitted through online mode.

Question: Can I edit my details in the application form after the submission?

Answer: No, authority does not provide any correction facility to any candidates.

Question: What will be the type of questions asked in the examination?

Answer: There will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) in the Symbiosis SET 2023 Examination.

Question: What will be the medium of question paper?

Answer: The medium of question paper will be English only.

Question: What will be the mode of examination?

Answer: The exam will be conducted through online mode only.

Question: Will there be any negative marking in the examination?

Answer: No, there won’t be any negative marking for the examination.

Question: What will be the duration of examination?

Answer: 2 hours & 30 minutes will be allotted to the candidates for solving the  question papers.


  • The aspirant must have cleared class XII or equivalent examinations in relevant stream from a recognised board or university with minimum 50% aggregate ( 45% for SC/ST category students)
  • Candidates in class XII or awaiting their class XII result are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit a passing certificate
  • A candidate who has completed class XII or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
