Maharashtra Law CET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates will have to match the eligibility requirements as laid down by the DHE Maharashtra. Before filling the application form, the students must make sure that they match the following eligibility standard. Students appearing for the 3 year LLB and 5 years integrated LLB course can check and note the same.

The MH Law CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for admission to 3 year LLB programme

• The candidate must be a Citizen of India.
• The candidates who will appear for the MH Law CET 2023 must have done graduation (10+2+3 year) or Postgraduation (10+2+3+2/3 year) in any discipline from University of Maharashtra/ State Legislature or an equally recognized university/deemed to be university or from a foreign university having an equal status of an Indian University.
• Students who have completed the above-mentioned level of education qualification from distance learning will also be eligible for MH Law CET 2023
• The Open Category Candidates (Candidates who have finished the above education from an institution from outside Maharashtra State) should have an aggregate score of at least 45%
• SC/ST Candidates and the Candidates who belong to the State of Maharashtra must have an aggregate score of 40% in Graduate (10+2+3) or Post Graduate (10+2+3+2/3) level of Education. The Maharashtra State Candidature is explained in the Image below.

MH Law CET 2023 Syllabus

For Effective preparation, the students must know the syllabus for MH Law CET 2023 Exam. The syllabus given below is as per the last year. However, it is expected that it will remain the same for this year also.

• English

• Logical and Analytical Reasoning
• Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs
• English: This section will check the students English proficiency. The Grammatical skills and comprehension skills will be analyzed in the exam. synonyms, antonyms, fill in the blanks, English grammar will be asked in this section.
• Logical and Analytical Reasoning: To understand the pattern of the question and on the basis of the critical analysis, understand the relationship and draw logical conclusions about the structure.
• Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning: This section checks the student’s interest in law. The candidates can study for the same with the help of the books that are available on this page.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This sections will check the candidates’ awareness of the topic. The updates related to the everyday happenings will be available to the candidates. Subjects such as Economics, Civics and general science are asked in the examination.
