The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the tentative schedule for the MH CET Law 2025 exams. The entrance test for the 3-year LLB program is set to take place on March 20 and 21, 2025, while the exam for the 5-year LLB program is scheduled for April 4, 2025.
The official syllabus for both programs has also been released on the CET Cell’s website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The 3-year LLB syllabus includes four key subjects:
Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning
General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Logical and Analytical Reasoning
English
For the 5-year LLB program, the syllabus covers the above subjects and an additional section on Mathematics.
The application process for both programs is expected to begin in January 2025, and the registration window will remain open for approximately one month. Interested candidates can apply online via the official CET Cell website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Once the registration process concludes, admit cards will be issued online. These will include important details such as exam date, exam centre address, roll number, timings, and instructions for exam day.
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) is a state-level exam conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and 3-year LLB programs offered by law colleges across Maharashtra.

Exam Mode
The MH CET Law 2025 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) at designated exam centers across Maharashtra.
Exam Duration
Candidates will have a total of 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the examination.

The 3-year LLB program will have the following four sections:
Test Paper Languages
The question paper will be available in English and Marathi, offering flexibility to candidates from diverse backgrounds.

The test will have a total of 150 questions, carrying an aggregate of 150 marks.
Marking Scheme
