B. Tech Eligibility

1. Applicant must be 17 years of age or older
2. Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board (e.g. CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / International School Board)
3. Candidates must be a citizen of India to apply for the examination. The candidate needs to be an official resident of Gujarat. In cases where the candidate’s domicile status is set in Gujarat but they are residing in another state, the candidate is eligible for the admission process. 
4. Applicants who will be appearing for 10+2 examination (Science Stream) in 2021 can also apply for GUJCET 2021.
5. They must have passed 10+2 examination (Science Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks (general category) and 40% (reserved categories). 

GUJCET Counselling 2022

1. The counselling will be organized by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. It will be conducted in online mode.
2. Before appearing in the counselling, successful candidates will have to get Information booklet and PIN from any of the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
3. At the time of counselling, candidates have to select choices of courses & colleges as per their preferences. But first, candidates have to register for counselling.
4. The seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of filled choices, cut off, merit, reservation, etc.

Syllabus

Mathematics:

Algebra, Logarithms, Matrices, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry, Theory of Calculus, Application of Calculus, Permutation and combination, Statistics and Probability.

Physics:

Introduction and Measurement, description of motion in one dimension, description of motion in two and three dimensions, laws of motion, work, energy and power, heat and thermodynamics, motion of system of particles and rigid body rotation, gravitation, mechanics of solids and fluids, oscillations, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating current, optics, dual nature of matter and radiations, atomic nucleus, solids and semiconductor devices.

Chemistry:

Basic concepts and atomic structure, bonding and molecular structure, states of matter, periodic properties of elements and hydrogen, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, solutions, redox reactions and electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, stereochemistry, Organic Chemistry, basic principles, purification and characterization of organic compounds, hydrocarbons, organic reaction mechanism, polymers and biomolecules, environmental chemistry and chemistry in everyday life.
