Delhi University Joint Admission Test, also known as DU-JAT, is a national level entrance exam conducted by the prestigious University of Delhi, for admission to its professional UG courses offered by 16 colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.

DU JAT registration started onAugust 2, 2023. Students can apply for the entrance exam till August 31, 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the entrance exam at various examination centres across 20 cities all over India and the schedule of exam will be released in the coming days. DU-JAT exam enables the aspirants to take admissions to the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
  • Bachelor of Journalism
  • Bachelor of Mass Media
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)
  • BA (Hons) in Business Economics

The date of exam is yet to be announced by the university. The exam will be held in 2 slots across 20 cities across the country.

 

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Students who belong to general category must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 12th.
  • Students who belong to SC, ST, CW and PwD categories should have attained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Class 12th.
  • Students who belong to OBC category must have secured at least 54% aggregate marks in their intermediate failing which they won’t be eligible for taking DU-JAT.
  • This aggregate score should be based on the student's score in 4 papers – English, Mathematics and two other subjects mentioned in the List B (Elective Subjects) of DU UG Admission Information Bulletin, with English and Mathematics being mandatory to count the student’s percentage for cut-off.
  • Students awaiting Class 12th results can also apply
  • Eligibility rules for merit-based admissions under the EWS category shall be similar to that of unreserved category.
