GITAM University conducts GITAM Admission Test (GAT) for admissions to various UG programmes offered in GITAM University at its Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses. GITAM University conducts the GITAM UGTP exam over a window of 12 days. GAT – UGTP was held online for Engineering(BTech), Architecture(BArch) and pharmacy(BPharmacy) courses in three phases.

Application Process and Fees:
Candidates can apply for GAT – UGTP 2022 in any one of the following methods:
Step1: Fill the Online GAT 2022 application form
Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website and click on 'New Registration' to register themselves and proceed to application form filling. The candidates should fill the online application with the required details such as educational, communication, parents/guardian and basic details. After successful submission of the data, GAT UGTP 2022 application number will be generated and this can be used to complete the next step of the application form and also for any further admission process.
Step2: Upload of Photograph and Signature
Upload recent passport size colour photograph (Not older than 3 months) and signature
The scanned image of photograph and signature should be in jpg/jpeg format
Size of the photo image and signature must be more than 4 kb and less than 50 kb
The dimension of the photograph should be 4 cm (width) x 4 cm (height)
The dimension of the signature should be 4 cm (width) x 2 cm (height)
Step3: Payment of Application Fee
The candidates have to select electronic payment by Debit Card /Credit Card/Net Banking. After successful payment of application fee, candidates will be accessed to take a printout of the acknowledgement.
Candidates can take two printouts and keep the second filled-in application form for future reference
Note: The candidate will be considered as registered for GAT – 2021 only after receiving the above said printout of online filled-in application form along with DD.

All questions are objective type (multiple choice questions).
Each question has four options out of which one is correct.
Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted from the score for each wrong answer.
The unanswered questions will receive nil marks.

Eligibility criteria for GAT 2022 - UGTP: Pass in Intermediate or 12th examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2022 or 2021 and also Rank obtained in GAT (UGTP) - 2022, subject to the following criteria:
BTech Programs: Aspirants need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
BTech in Biotechnology: Aspirants need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
