Bachelor of Science-Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

1. BSc (Hons.) Nursing

• Gender: Female candidates only.
• Academic Qualification:
  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Minimum aggregate marks: 55% for General/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST.

2. BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing

• Passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
• Must be a registered nurse with the State Nursing Council.
• Male candidates should have completed additional training in subjects like Operation Theatre Techniques or TB Nursing.

3. Paramedical Programs

• Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Math.
• Minimum aggregate marks: 50% (General/EWS/OBC), 45% (SC/ST).

Exam Pattern

BSc (Hons.) Nursing

• Duration: 2 hours.
• Sections:
  • Physics: 30 questions
  • Chemistry: 30 questions
  • Biology: 30 questions
  • General Knowledge: 10 questions
• Marking Scheme:
  • +1 for correct answers, -1/3 for incorrect answers.

BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing

• Stage 1: Written Test (90 minutes, MCQs on nursing fundamentals).
• Stage 2: Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.

Paramedical Programs

• Duration: 90 minutes.
• Sections:
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math (30 questions each).
• Marking Scheme:
  • +1 for correct answers, -1/3 for incorrect answers.

  • Basic Registration (PAAR):
    • Fill in personal and academic details online.
    • Upload required documents, including a passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • Final Registration:
    • Pay the application fee (INR 1500 for General/OBC, INR 1200 for SC/ST, and Nil for PwBD).
    • Choose preferred exam centers.
  • Document Submission: Submit the required documents before the deadline.
