Xavier aptitude test 2025

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025, a national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, is scheduled for January 5, 2025. The registration process is expected to commence in July 2024, with the application window open until December 2024. Candidates must complete an online application form and pay the required fee. The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT), lasting 3.5 hours, held at various centers across over 75 cities in India. XAT 2025 will include 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Post-exam, XLRI will conduct the Group Discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI) round in February-March 2025, while other participating colleges will continue their admission processes until May-June 2025. The cut-off percentiles for XLRI's PGDM-BM program are generally around 95 for male candidates and 92 for female candidates. XAT scores are accepted by over 1,000 B-schools, including XLRI, 10 other XAMI member colleges, and many others for their MBA, PGDM, and Executive MBA programs. The exam is crucial for MBA aspirants, assessing their decision-making, reasoning, quantitative, and general knowledge skills.

Applicants should note that registration for XAT 2025 he preliminary step towards applying to XLRI and XAT Associate Institutes. Applicants applying to XAT Associate Institutes, besides XLRI have to apply separately according to their choice. Applicants for XAT 2025 choose to pay online using credit card/debit line important complete filling the Basic Information a system generated XAT ID and password will be communicated to you through Email / SMS. XAT Exam Eligibility

XAT exam eligibility over the years has remained unchanged. XLRI does not propose to change the XAT exam eligibility criteria for XAT 2025 exam either.

XAT eligibility for 2025 exam prescribes ‘No Age Bar’ to appear in the XAT 2025 exam. XLRI also does not restrict any candidate to seek admission in XAT MBA eligibility to seek admission based on.

According to XAT 2025 eligibility criteria, a candidate is eligible to appear in XAT 2025, if he/she holds recognized Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Those completing their final graduation exam by June 10, 2025, ay also apply.

XAT exam eligibility criteria further clarify that candidates in the l year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for XAT 2025. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate from the Principal/ Registrar of the College/Institute stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.

XAT 2025 is the mandatory exam for admission to member and associate B-schools for Indian candidates, the NRI and foreign candidates may apply through their valid GMAT scores. Candidates in Dubai and Kathmandu have the option of appearing in XAT 2019 or applying through GMAT scores.

Key Points to ensure your XAT eligibility 2025

XAT eligibility does not impose any age bar to appear in XAT 2025 exam.
The candidate applying for XAT 2025 must fulfil one of the following XAT eligibility criteria 2025-

            A. Completed Bachelor’s degree, or
            B. Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA), or
            C. Should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution.
In the of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution following exam criteria minimum eligibility for XAt ensure consideration for shortlisting other applicant applies for admission
One of the key points prescribed by XLRI in XAT eligibility 2025 is that the candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process

XAT Syllabus 2023

Before preparing for the XAT exam, candidates must have complete knowledge of the XAT syllabus. There is no such fixed XAT 2023 Syllabus for XAT examination, students can prepare for the exam from these topics which are mentioned below:

The XAT 2025 syllabus includes essential topics from Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. The Decision Making section, unique to XAT, has no predefined syllabus, so candidates are advised to review previous years' question papers and sample tests for preparation. Key points about the XAT 2025 syllabus are as follows:

The Decision Making section will present scenarios from personal and professional contexts, requiring candidates to use critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and prioritization to make informed decisions. The Verbal & Logical Ability section will feature questions on Critical and Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, English Grammar, Vocabulary, Parajumbles, Cloze Test, and more. The Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation section will cover topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Modern Math. The General Knowledge section will encompass subjects like politics, culture, society, notable personalities, business, art and entertainment, sports, inventions, innovations, world events, economy, science, technology, and books.

Additionally, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) will require candidates to write a 250-word essay on one of three topics, usually drawn from business and social domains.
