MCAER PG CET is conducted by Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) to shortlist aspirants for admission in PG level courses including Master of Science (MSc), Master of Engineering and Technology (MTech) and Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) offered at State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra. A state-level entrance exam, the Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research Common Entrance Test (MCAER CET) is usually conducted in the month of March, every year. Due to the nationwide COVID-19 cases, the exam schedule has been postponed to August. The final list of eligible candidates has been released and as many as 9,853 candidates have been considered eligible. On the other hand, a total of 2,748 candidates have been considered non-eligible for appearing in the MCAER PG CET 2021 exam.

To be eligible for admission through the PG CET exam, candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:
MUAEB will prepare the final merit list of MCAER CET 2022 on basis of 70 per cent marks secured by a candidate in the MCAER CET exam and, the remaining 30 per cent marks from CGPA score in the qualifying degree examination.
MCAER PG CET syllabus has been released soon by Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB). For MCAER CET exam candidates need to prepare topics like Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Botany, Horticulture, Animal Science & Dairy Science, Agricultural Extension, and Agricultural Economics.
