The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized exam designed to evaluate candidates' analytical abilities in quantitative and verbal reasoning, essential for success in business school. Although it is tailored for MBA admissions, the GMAT does not require specific management knowledge, making it accessible to students from diverse academic backgrounds. The exam assesses basic mathematical and verbal skills through 80 questions to be answered within 3 hours and 7 minutes, with scores ranging from 200 to 800. The GMAT is a popular choice for MBA and MIM aspirants, with 80% of candidates using their scores for business school applications. Its high acceptability is reflected in the fact that over 7,700 programs at 2,400 institutions across 110 countries recognize GMAT scores. Notably, the GMAT Focus Edition 2024 has been introduced, with the current version available until early 2024.

GMAT 2024 Dates

There are no specific dates for GMAT 2024. The examination is organized multiple times in a a year. Candidates are advised to choose exam dates at the time of registration as per their convenience. Application process will be made available through the year.

GMAT 2024 Application Form

Candidates can go through following details regarding GMAT 2024 Application Form:

  • GMAT 2024 application form has been made available through online mode. No other mode has been entertained.
  • The addition registration process has been started from 3rd January 2024.
  • The application form is made available through the year.
  • During application process, candidates have to enter name, email ID & password for the registration.
  • Incomplete or incorrect details in the application form leads to rejection so candidates must fill the form completely & carefully.
  • Candidates are advised not to forgot to go through its eligibility norms before filling the form. Application form will be accepted only of eligible candidates.
  • Once all details are completely filled, candidates are advised to re-check all the details entered in the form.

Application Fee:

  • GMAT 2024 Application fee can be paid through online or offline mode.
  • Credit card, debit card, visa, master card, American express or net banking method will be used during online method.
  • For offline mode, money checks or cashier method will be use.
  • The application fee for GMAT 2024 is US $ 250 (Rs. 17027.50).
  • In any case, the application fee is non-refundable & non-transferrable.

There are no fixed eligibility criteria provided for GMAT examination. Candidates can check the basic eligibility for the exam from here:

Age Criteria:

  • Candidate must complete the minimum age of 18 years.

  • There is no upper age limit.

Qualification Required:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass graduation degree from any recognized institution or university.

  • Many universities or institutions have their own eligibility criteria that candidate also has to fulfill at the time of admission.

GMAT 2023 Syllabus

The entire syllabus of the GMAT is divided into four sections. The four sections included are the Analytical Writing section, Quantitative section, Verbal Skills and Integrated Reasoning section. All four sections is to monitor the candidate’s knowledge and skills in the related field.

GMAT Exam Pattern 2020

GMAT exam pattern is given here:

  • Mode of Exam: It is a Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Duration of Exam: GMAT is a 2.15 hours test.

  • Total marks: It is of maximum 805 marks.

  • Subjects: Total of four subjects are included in the complete question paper, i.e. Data Insights Section, Verbal Reasoning Section, Quantitative Aptitude Section..
