Symbiosis national aptitude test 2024

The SNAP 2024 exam, conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU), is a crucial entrance test for admission to MBA/PGDM courses offered by its constituent institutes. Scheduled to be held in December 2024 across three sessions, this computer-based test allows candidates to attempt it up to three times in one academic session, with the highest score being considered for admission. Registration for SNAP 2024 will begin in August 2024, with official dates to be announced on SIU’s website. This exam is essential for management aspirants and covers various aspects such as question paper format, pattern, syllabus, mock tests, and cut-offs.

The application fee will be Rs. 2250 for SNAP, which is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee online through Billdesk Gateway, Easebuzz Payment Gateway and also through demand draft.

Through net banking, candidates can transfer the fee to the symbiosis test secretariat account. Candidates can also pay the fee through cash by printing the 'axis bank or Indian bank challan' from the website.

This objective type test carries 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections to be solved in a 60 minute duration. Each question carries one mark which means each correct response will fetch one mark.

There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. All the 15 institutes release their SNAP cutoffs to shortlist the candidates for General Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) & Writing Ability Test (WAT).

The graduate aspirants from statutory/recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level are eligible to apply for SNAP examination.

For foreign university graduates, it is must obtain an equivalence certificate from the AIU (Association of Indian Universities). Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply. However, they must complete their degree with the requisite aggregate percentage or equivalent CGPA at the time of admission.

The SNAP 2024 admit card will be released in the first week of December. Candidates would be able to download the admit card of SNAP 2024 by entering their login details from the official website of the exam.

The admit card carries candidates' roll number and signature, attested photograph by a gazetted officer, venue and time of the exam. This year SNAP will be conducted in 84 centres across the country.

Students applying for the SNAP 2024 exam must:

Register for SNAP exam 2024
Pay the SNAP exam fees.
Enter choice of programme(s) through SNAP 2024 exam.
Pay the respective programme registration fee.

Steps to fill Application Form for SNAP Exam

Step 1: Register for SNAP 2024 exam - Apply now

Use registration link given on snaptest.org to access SNAP login
Fill in personal, academic, and communication details as asked.
Select SNAP 2024 test dates as per preference.
Upload a recent passport size photo (not more than 3 months old) in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format only with a file size between 10 KB and 5 MB.
Use the OTP sent to verify credentials. The university will then send an e-mail & SMS containing the SNAP exam ID and password.

Step 2: Log in to pay the fee for the SNAP exam -

Pay Rs 2250 for SNAP 2024 exam via Demand Draft or online payment.
Submit, check status and save a copy of the same.
No changes can be made in the SNAP application form after submission.

Note: There will be a programme registration fee of Rs. 1000 (as per last year) payable per programme per institute in addition to the SNAP exam fees 2024.

Correction in the application form of SNAP 2024 exam

No corrections were allowed especially in name, date of birth, category, test city, and test date. So candidates must carefully fill the form for SNAP exam. However, they could always refer to the admission support team of the university for any corrections in the application form of the SNAP exam.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility details are given here:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must complete their graduation degree of minimum 3 years from any recognized university.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should obtain minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks for SC/ST).
Appearing Candidates can also apply.
Candidates, those completed qualifying examination from any Foreign University can obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Reservation Policy

As per UGC guidelines, below mentioned are the reservation policies to get enrolled in any programme at the institutes of SIU (except Symbiosis Institutes of Management Studies):

After the result of SNAP 2024, candidates will be shortlisted by the participating institutes on the basis of cutoff and conduct selection procedure of SNAP. The selection rounds comprise of Group Exercise, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds.
