KBCNMU PET 2025

The KBCNMU PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) is an admission test organized by Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, for candidates aspiring to enroll in the university's Ph.D. program. The test is designed to assess the eligibility and preparedness of candidates for advanced research studies. It consists of two distinct papers.

Paper-I focuses on Research Methodology and General Aptitude, covering essential skills such as logical reasoning, analytical ability, and understanding of research principles. Paper-II evaluates the candidate's knowledge in their specific subject area, ensuring that they have a strong foundation in their chosen field of study.

Each paper includes 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), requiring a thorough understanding of the topics to perform well. To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50% in each paper. However, for candidates belonging to reserved categories, a relaxation is provided, and they need to secure at least 45% marks. Successfully clearing the PET is an essential step for gaining admission to the university's prestigious Ph.D. program.

Fees

The fee structure includes:

• Provisional Registration Fee: ₹1000

• Admission Fee: ₹1500

• Tuition Fee: ₹8000 per year

• Library Fee: ₹1500 per year

• Course Work Fee: ₹3000

• Coursework Examination Fee: ₹1500

• University Development Fund: ₹1000 per year

• Other miscellaneous fees
