BHU-UET is Undergraduate level entrance exam conducted by India’s one of the oldest and most reputed university - Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for admissions to various UG courses offered by the University for Admission to its affiliated colleges. The exam is conducted at university level only and more than 5000 seats are allotted on basis of this entrance exam scores. BHU-UET is conducted in both Pen-Paper mode as well as Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The exam is conducted once a year in offline and online mode, depending upon the courses for which the exam is being conducted. The duration of the paper is 2 hours and admission is granted to the students who clear the Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test exam.

Over the years, BHU remains one of the top choices for students from all over India and is known for its rich heritage and legacy in imparting education to the youth of the country.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

All students appearing for BHU-UET 2023 must have passed or must be appearing for the class 12^th or equivalent examinations.
Aspirants should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
The student should not be more than 22 years of age at the time of admission.

Course	Academic Qualification
BA (Hons.) in Economics BA (Hons.) Social Sciences	Candidates should have studied Mathematics in Class 12^th as one of the main subjects
BCom (Hons.) and BCom (Hons.) Financial Markets Management	The main subjects in class 12^th must include Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Science/ Finance/ Financial Markets Management/ Vocational courses (related to Commerce)
BSc (Hons.) Maths and BSc (Hons.) Biology	For maths group - Physics, Mathematics along with any one of the following: Chemistry/ Statistics/ Geology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology and Geography For bio group – Physics, Chemistry along with any one of the following: Biology/ Geology/ Geography
BA LLB	Candidates completing Class 12^th under open education system are not eligible for admission to law courses as per BCI Candidates belonging to OBC category need to have 45% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have 40% marks
BEd and BEd in Special Education	Candidates should have passed a bachelor or master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce subjects with 50% marks If holding a bachelor degree in engineering & technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics, then the qualifying marks are 55%
BPEd	Candidates holding a bachelor degree in any specialisation with 50% marks and should have at least participated in: Inter-College/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India If holding a bachelor degree in physical education or studied Physical Education as the main subject then the qualifying marks are 45% OR Candidates who have three years of work experience as a trained physical education teacher/ coaches after completing graduation The candidates should not be more than 25 years of age at the time of admission
BSc (Hons.) Agriculture	Candidates should be older than 16 years and not more than 25 years of age at the time of admissions
