BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN BIO-CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Bachelor of Technology in Biochemical Engineering is an undergraduate Biochemical Engineering course. Biochemical engineering is a branch of chemical engineering.  Course deals with the design and construction of unit processes that involve biological organisms or molecules, such as bioreactors.

Course aims in the crucial chemical engineering aspects of the development of biological processes associated from raw materials preparation to product recovery, relevant to industries and medical/healthcare, environmental protection. Its implementation are used in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and water treatment industries.

Program Pattern

• The duration of the course is of 4 years.
• The 4 year course consists of 8 semesters and a project in final year along with field and industry experience in their course period.
