AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) has been renamed as AP EAPCET, which stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada for admissions to Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy courses offered at more than 425 private institutes in Andhra Pradesh state. JNTU Kakinada is only the exam conducting authority for AP EAMCET on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The application process incorporates several stages like fee payment, registration, filling application form, uploading required documents and final submit. AP EAMCET 2023 eligibility criteria are the conditions set by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE for candidates seeking admission to engineering, medical and agriculture courses. To be eligible, candidates need to fulfil the requirements as under:
General Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana state and should meet the local/non-local status requirements by Educational Institutes in Andhra Pradesh under admission regulations
Academic Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level or any equivalent examination as recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with required subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or any of the optional subjects or relevant vocational subjects in Engineering and Technology stream
