Bachelor of Science (BSc) is an undergraduate degree course usually of three years duration. It is a popular course choice among Science students after Class 12th. BSc or Bachelor of Science is a course for students who wish to make a career in science and research.

Jobs for B.Sc graduates aren't just restricted within the field of science but also they are able to explore other areas like management, engineering, law etc. Apart from the research jobs, students can also work or get jobs in Marketing, Business & Other technical fields. Science graduates are also recruited in the bank sector to work as customer service executives. Students can also find employment in government sectors. The salary of an individual in this field depends on which field he is working; some professional B.Sc. courses like IT and Computer Science have very good scope and pay a handsome salary to the deserving students. The starting salary in the field may range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000.
In order to meet BSc eligibility criteria candidates should clear Class 12th in Science stream with minimum 50% - 60% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
Admission to the course is offered on a merit basis mostly, but few universities also conduct entrances like BHU UET, NEST 2020, NMIMS-NPAT, etc.
The age limit for BSc courses is minimum or above 18 years.
The students must have core subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary level.
