REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) replaced RPET and the examination is targeted for the undergraduate courses of engineering.

  • Conducting Authority: Board of Technical Education Rajasthan
  • Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 17 years of age and should have passed Class XII of Board of Secondary Education with a minimum of 45% marks, to be eligible for the RPET examination.

Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is the state-level entrance examination being conducted for admission to first year of undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor's degree in different disciplines of engineering (B.Tech. and B.E.) in various government-aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed private universities).

Online applications (registration) for RPET are invited by the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

  1. Education Qualification: Each applicant must have cleared Class XII of Board of Secondary Education with a minimum of 45% marks, to be eligible for the REAP examination.
  2. Subjects: The applicants must have taken up Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 10+2 and either one of the subjects such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Biology, to be eligible for the REAP  examination.
