The National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) is a two-level competitive exam based on cyber concepts for students from classes 1 to 12 to identify and empower their IT talents and nurture the hidden scientist within them. NCO helps students measure and analyze themselves at four levels, including school, city, state, and international levels.
The National Cyber Olympiad is one of the most popular competitive exams under the Science Olympiad Foundation, which helps students identify their hidden scientists and showcase their IT talents. A good rank in these exams helps students boost their confidence and helps to secure various scholarships under different levels. The main focus of this exam is to encourage science students.

National Cyber Olympiad registration dates will be released on SOF's official website. Students can fill the NCO registration form through their respective schools or fill the registration form as individual participants at the official SOF website.
Note: For schools to register, a minimum of 10 students from a school should take part in the National Cyber Olympiad exam.
National Cyber Olympiad Registration Fee
Students have to pay SOF a registration fee of INR 125* (including GST). No fee is payable for students with any major physical disability or a student whose parent was martyred during defence operations. School may take additional fees of 25 as an honour towards the teacher to guide students for the exam.
SOF Foundation usually conducts its National Cyber Olympiad Exam in December and January. The students appearing for the NCO exam need to register themselves through school. The board has declared the 2021-22 academic schedule for the National Cyber Olympiad Exam.
The National Cyber Olympiad will be conducted on the two sets in January 2022. The registration deadline for the respective dates ends 15 days before the exam date.
National Cyber Olympiad admit cards will be available for students at the official SOF site after the successful registration of a student. In most cases, the school coordinator provides admit cards to students in the school. Although students can also download their NCO admit card from the official site.
The basic criteria for students to give the National Cyber Olympiad exams are, they must be studying in any recognized education board (i.e., CBSE, ICSE, etc.) in India. Students from 1 to 12 can participate in this exam, and there is no minimum marks bracket to be eligible for this exam. Many exams under SOF have 2 level examinations, but National Cyber Olympiad has only one level of examination, i.e., single level exam.
National Cyber Olympiad syllabus covers all the aspects of school education with basic and day-to-day science, IT, and concepts related to analyzing skills. NCO syllabus is based on India's recognized educational board, like CBSE, ICSE, State Board, etc.
SOF also provides sample papers and study material to students for a better understanding of the exam. These NCO sample papers help students to hold a better grip on the exam.
