IPhO

Every year an annual physics competition is conducted by the conducting authorities in various countries for the secondary school students with an aim to increase the growth of international relations in the field of school education in physics and an acknowledgment of the increasing importance of physics in all the fields of science and technology.

However, for the preparation, the students were kept separate from their leaders for the duration of the Olympiad. The authorities used to prepare two separate programs for the applicants. However, the structure of the program is decided on the basis of the international standards for 51st IPhO ((International Physics Olympiad) 2021.

The Portuguese Physical Society is the conducting authority to organize the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021 every year in different places. However, the Portuguese Physical Society will organize the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021 on behalf of the Portuguese Ministry of Education. The Government of Portugal and the public and private partners fund the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021.

IPHO 2021 Selection Process

The dates for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021 exams are still not announced but all the information related to the application process is already mentioned in this section.

The applicants will have to clear the 1st four levels in order to reach the 5th level which is the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021. Please find the information below:

• Level I: NSEP: National Standard Examination in Physics 
• Level II: INPO: Indian National Physics Olympiad 
• Level III: OCSC: Orientation cum Selection Camp in physics
• Level IV: PDT: Pre-departure Training Camp for IPhO
• Level V: IPhO: International Physics Olympiad 

The Indian Association of Physics Teachers will be responsible to conduct the NSEP (National Standard Examination in Physics) and all the stages after this will be organized by the HBCSE 

Important Note: An invitation letter will be sent in an email to the country leaders with the information to fill the Pre-registration form.

IPHO 2021 Participation Fee

The applicants should know that the participation fee for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2021 will include everything such as food, accommodation, day trips, and IPhO transports as well.
