Fee Structure
The total fees for the programme is INR 17.05 lacs plus 18% GST, excluding hostel, domestic and international travel and any other incidental expenses. The fees can be paid in a lump sum on admission or in instalments as mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria
The potential candidate for the PGP-FMB programme will need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Has passed an undergraduate programme from a certified/recognised University
- Has to be at least a second generation member of a family managed business in which he/she would inherit ownership stake.
- Has preferably at least one year experience in the family business (could be alongside pursuing his/her studies)
- Has business acumen and knowledge
- Has a mentor who is willing to spend time as per programme requirements.
- Has a business of a certain size

Who can be a Mentor?
A mentor should be preferably:
- A senior family member (not necessarily the father) involved actively in the business.
- He/she should be willing to mentor the participant through the course.
- He/she should be willing to commit to the use of the family business as the test bed for course projects.
Admission Process
The participant will need to apply online and pay the application processing fee either through Net banking, debit card or credit card. He/she can select a date for the interview process from the pre-determined interview schedule.
The admission process comprises of the following rounds:

- The online aptitude test is a Psychometric Test which measures the candidate’s suitability for the program based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude (or cognitive abilities). The duration of the test is 45 minutes and it requires no prior preparation.
- Participants will be required to make a brief PowerPoint presentation (of about 20 minutes) regarding their business and future plans. The process will comprise of one/two round of interviews with both the participant and his mentor, to assess the participant’s suitability for the programme.
- Selected participants desirous of joining the programme will have to pay the fees as per the fee schedule. If for some reason, the participant is unable to join the given batch, he/she may indicate the decision to join the programme in the following batch. The Institute’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.
Selection Process
Selection of a participant for PGP-FMB is based on assessment of three parameters:

Each parameter comprises of further composite criteria to assess the participant’s suitability for the programme and his/her business acumen, the nature of the business and its potential, as also the mentor’s commitment to the program and its requirements of using the business as a lab.
