PGDPM Program Overview

 Project management provides the complementary skill set that blends well with other management verticals. The Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management seeks to attract graduate engineers with an attitude and aptitude seeking challenging opportunities in the dynamic business environment where management by projects has become a way of life. The program also seeks to attract graduates who are currently working at different levels of projects. The focus of the program is to provide professionals the strategic/operational tools and techniques to execute projects, programs and portfolios. The program has been conceptualized with a view to provide students with methodologies and systematic approaches to deal with diverse industrial challenges developing Techno-Managers with cross- functional skills.

Project management post graduates will help in management, development and implementation of large investments by government and/or private industries and will also help in contributing to various internal projects. Further develop Project Managers who are responsible for the safe, timely and cost effective delivery of a broad range of projects in industry.

The program covers Wide spectrum of courses with focus on Functional Development, Skill Development and Perspective Development along with Program Core Courses which provide complementary skill sets that blends well for successful execution of Projects. It adopts a management based approach to entire life cycle of projects with focus on Initiation, Planning & Execution, Contract Management, and Project Finance & Risk Management.
