A Master of Public Health (MPH) is a graduate-level degree designed to train students to protect and improve the health of communities. As an MPH degree candidate, you’ll learn how to foster better health through education, research, and the promotion of best wellness practices.
While each university has its own public health degree curriculum, you can expect to take classes in nutrition, epidemiology, biostatistics, population health, determinants of health, and public health policy.
MPH (Epidemiology and Health Systems) programme is designed to introduce the students to the basic principles of public health, with emphasis on public health practices in India. Upon completion of the MPH, the student is expected to develop the following seven technical core competencies:

A Selection Committee constituted by SCTIMST will select the candidates based on the following:
Reservation of seats will be as per Government of India norms being followed by SCTIMST. Mere possession of the eligibility criteria will not entail selection for the course. The decision of the Director, SCTIMST, shall be final for selection of the candidates.
