DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PhD)

Doctor of Philosophy is the highest university degree that is conferred after a course of study by universities in most countries. PhDs are awarded for programs across the whole breadth of academic fields. The completion of a PhD is often a requirement for employment as a university professor, researcher, or scientist in many fields. It is the degree program done after completing the master’s degree.

Program Pattern

PhD in Social Study Courses varies from 3-5 academic years depending upon the students learning capability.  The course is of semester pattern, 2 semesters in each year.

• Professor- Impart knowledge to students about the subject, using different methods of learning.

Salary

It varies from 2 lac to 10 lac on an average (INR), depending upon the field of work.
