DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

Diploma programs usually go on for about 2-3 years. These courses can be pursued after completing 12th standard (with specific subjects). Certification programs are often six to twelve months long. These courses can be pursued after completing 10th or 12th standard. These programs are usually offered by Government and private paramedical colleges.

1. Dental Assistants: Dental assistant is in charge to perform a wide variety of jobs such as office and laboratory duties, patient care, and work chair-side as dentists treating and examining patients.
2. Medical Assistants: Medical assistants are in charge of completing clinical and administrative tasks in the offices of hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare facilities.
3. Dental Hygienists: They provide oral care to patients and perform some medical tests in order to ensure patients are properly diagnosed and treated.

Salary

On an average, the starting salary could be anywhere between 8-10K INR per month. It depends upon various factors such as job location, job profile, academic performance of the candidate etc.
