Eligibility Of the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Marine Engineering)

A candidate is said to be eligible for this course only if they have passes senior secondary examination with subjects such as Math, Physics and Chemistry.

Most of the institutions have entrance exams as admission mode. The students who have appeared in 12th examination and await the result are allowed to apply for the course by such institutions.

A minimum percentage of 50% is usually required in senior secondary examination.  Diploma holders can also apply for this course.

Some institutions also require a minimum of 50% marks in English in secondary and senior secondary examination.

In certain institutions like MANET, the candidate also needs to fulfill the medical requirements observing particular features such as constitution, skeletal system, ear nose throat, speech, lymphatic system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system digestive system, genitourinary system, skin, nervous system, eyesight and other tests.
