In simple terms, shipbuilding is the construction of ships and other floating vessels at shipyards. Shipbuilders are qualified professionals who are knowledgeable about phases of shipbuilding such as design, drawing, planning, construction and repair!B.Sc. in Shipbuilding and Repair is a Bachelor of Science Degree course. The course focuses on the science of shipbuilding and repair! This course consists of elements of marine engineering, naval architecture and material science.
According to me, B.E. or B.Tech. in Naval Architecture is a much better course. B.Tech. in Naval Architecture is a much more detailed course and is hence more valued! Still, B.Sc. in Shipbuilding has got decent scope and potential.
