BSc Horticulture Overview
BSc Horticulture course, often known as, the Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Science is a 3 years undergraduate programme that focuses on the science of breeding vegetables, cereals, fruits, orchids, and other plants (both conventional and hybrid). BSc Horticulture course also goes into great detail about topics like product marketing, farming management, pest control, and a variety of others related to the BSc Horticulture course curriculum. Horticulture is the science or art of growing plants for food, beauty, comfort, or as a supply of materials. BSc Horticulture course is a full-time, three-year undergraduate programme separated into six semesters. BSc Horticulture Eligibility Criteria
students who wish to pursue a BSc in Horticulture must meet the eligibility criteria. To pursue a bachelor's degree in horticulture, you must meet the following BSc Horticulture eligibility criteria: Candidates must have completed a 10+2 Science programme with Biology as one of the required topics.
A minimum of 55 percent in any science stream with Biology as a required subject is required. Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average in class 12 of at least 50%. This, however, may vary from university to university. Candidates must be at least 27 years old to be considered. The maximum age limit varies by college, but it is usually between 21 and 24 years old.
