VTUEEE - VTU Engineering Scholarship Eligibility Exam 2019

VTUEEE(Veltech Technical University Engineering Entrance Exam) is a national level Scholarship Eligibility Test conducted by Veltech Technical University for admissions to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by the University. The exam is held in pen and paper mode(offline).

VTUEEE 2019 will be held in two phases. While, Phase I exam of VTUEEE 2019 will be held in January,  Phase II will be conducted in April.

  • Phase-I : VTUEEE 2019 Paper & Pencil Test in January, 2019.
  • Phase-II : VTUEEE 2019 Paper & Pencil Test in April, 2019 and Computer Based Test in April, 2019

VTUEEE 2019 exam dates will be announced soon. 

Batches: 10.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m & 2.00 p.m to 4.30 p.m.

VTUEEE 2019 results: A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks secured in the VTUEEE 2019

VTU will not send the marks of the candidates (selected or unselected) by post. At the time of publication of the results, the rank will be intimated through email if the email of the applicant is provided. Since the machine gradable sheets are graded and scrutinized with extreme care, there is no provision for re-grading or re-totaling. No photocopies of the answer sheets will be made available. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

VTUEEE Application & Registration Form 2019

VTUEEE 2019 Online Application Form and Process:

The cost of the online VTUEEE 2019 application form is Rs.750. Students need to fiil the application form after reading the instructions below:

  • Aspirants will require the softcopy (scanned copy) of recently taken passport size colour photograph with 10 kb - 300 kb (Dimensions - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg/png format.Softcopy (scanned copy) of signature of the Candidate with 10 kb - 300 kb (Dimensions - 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm ) in jpg/jpeg/png format.
  • The application fee can be paid through - Internet Banking facility through Net banking / Debit card and Credit card.
  • Students are required to enter valid mobile number and E-mail ID. Please remember, all the correspondence will be sent by SMS from LMVELTEC. The Hall Ticket will be sent by E-mail only. For online queries please contact - 08754416293.

For transaction not successful due to network issues / display of error pages

  • In case, the transaction is found not successful, even after the amount being deducted from your account, you are requested to wait for 2 working days. In case, if the transaction is incomplete even after 3 working days, then you are supposed to send a mail to webadmin@veltechuniv.edu.in.

VTUEEE 2019 Offline Application Form and Process:

Aspirants can apply for VTUEEE 2019 by sending a demand draft for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of “ Vel Tech Dr.RR & Dr.SR Technical University”, payable at Chennai, to The Director- UG Admission with a request letter containing the full address of the applicant.

Candidates appearing in the entrance exam must know the type and number of questions, language of paper, time duration of exam, subjects from which questions will be asked etc, All this is announced through the VTUEEE 2019 exam pattern. It is to be noted that the entrance exam is modelled on JEE Main and therefore candidates can prepare better for the same.

VTUEEE 2019 Eligibility

Qualifying Examination:

In addition to the Government norms, candidates seeking admission to BTech degree Programme at VTU should have either completed or appearing for, any one of the following examinations:

  • 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board, Central Board of higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open School; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University; High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria for VTUEEE 2019:

  • Candidates should be a pass in +2 (or its equivalent).
  • Aspirants appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in April/May 2019 can appear for VTUEEE 2019.
  • For the purpose of consideration for award of the Veltech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the state from which the aspirant has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another state or union territory.

VTUEEE 2019 Physics:

1. Mechanics:

Uniform and non-uniform motion, average speed and instantaneous velocity ,Uniformly accelerated motion, Scalar and vectors, relative velocity, Motion in a plane, projectile motion-uniform circular motion-force and inertia, Newton’s first law of motion-momentum, Newton’s second law of motion, impulse, Newton’s third law of motion-law of conservation of linear momentum and its applications, equilibrium of concurrent forces-static and kinetic friction, law of friction, rolling friction, basic concepts of rotational motion-moment of a force-torque, angular momentum, conservation of angular momentum and its application momentum of inertia-radius of gyration, values of moments of inertia for simple geometrical objects, parallel and perpendicular axes theorems and their applications.
