Registration has been started. Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2023) is a national level entrance exam. It is conducted by the All India Management Association four times in one year. Through MAT entrance examination, the admission will be offered in management courses such as MBA and PGDM. For September MAT 2023, AIMA will conduct two separate Computer Based Tests (CBTs) which are conducted at test centres
Sep MAT 2023 Exam: Test Taking Options
You can take one or more than one type of MAT September 2023 Exams in different modes. Following combinations are offered by AIMA to appear in different testing modes:
1. IBT Testing Options: Appear in one or two IBT Sept MAT Exams
2. PBT + IBT Testing Options: Can choose one or a Combination of PBT+IBT
3. PBT + CBT Testing Options: Can choose one or Two PBT or a combination of PBT+CBT
4. CBT Testing Options: Choose One or Two CBT MAT exams or CBT+IBT
IBT, CBT or PBT Testing Mode? Which is better option…
MBA Exam experts and past MAT toppers suggest the candidates to opt for IBT Mode due to the uncertainty in Paper based and computer based exams at the test centres. In the current situation, IBT from their home is the best option after complying with the AIMA norms. The difficulty level in IBT exam is similar to PBT and CBT mode of exam.
MAT 2023 IBT Mode: Important Guidelines and Benefits
MAT IBT mode is the new type of exam which you can take from your home. You can opt for 2 IBT 2023 Sep MAT tests by paying an extra MAT Registration fees of Rs.1125/- in addition to Rs.1850/- for one test.
The MAT IBT exam is scheduled in morning and evening time slots on each exam date. There is facility to appear in one IBT mode exam or two IBT Mode MAT tests with extra registration fee of Rs.1125/-.
MAT May 2023: IBT, CBT and PBT Registration
Fresh registrations for IBT, CBT and PBT Mode MAT May 2023 exams are open on AIMA MAT website. The dates for MAT Registrations will remain open till few days before the each exam date. Read below all the important details about IBT Exam, CBT Exam and PBT MAT exams
To avoid any untoward incident due to Covid-19 pandemic, AIMA has introduced Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (MAT IBT) 2023 exam, apart from the regular Paper based and computer based exam. Candidates can appear in the IBT mode exam from the convenience of their home instead of going to an exam centre for CBT exam, while PBT remains centre based exam.
Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria given below to appear in MAT 2021. However, each management institution has their own eligibility criteria to offer admission.

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
AIMA is the examination authority that declares the eligibility criteria of MAT. It is strictly advised to all the candidates to read all the conditions carefully before applying. The eligibility conditions for MAT 2023 standardized test are discussed below:
MAT May 2023 Registration has been started from 11th March 2021. Candidates must fill all the details carefully and upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the specified format.
Qualification Criteria:
Qualifying Exam: Minimum qualification required to sit in the examination is graduation. The candidates may complete their graduation from the recognized University in any of the course like BA, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech. etc.
Appearing Candidates: The final year graduation appearing candidates can also apply for the MAT 2023.
Percentage Criteria:
Achieve minimum passing marks in graduation to appear the examination. The percentage criteria of graduation vary MIs to MIs. The candidates are suggested to refer the information brochures of particular MI’s/University for the same.
Age Criteria:
There is no age limitation for MAT 2021 examination. As per AIMA rules, the candidate of any age can appear the exam.
The candidates those have no work experience can also give the examination.
Number of Attempts:
Candidates can attend the MAT 2021 examination as many times as possible. There is no restriction for the number of attempts, but try to qualify the examination in the first time only.
The PBT and CBT examination of MAT is scheduled four times in a year, the aspirants can attend all the four examinations if not satisfied with the scores.

MAT Syllabus 2023
The MAT syllabus is prepared from the subjects mentioned in the exam pattern of this article as:
Candidates should study these topics to the depth to score good in the exam. The authority does not provide any particular syllabus for the exam.
MAT exam pattern 2023 mentions the structure of MAT question paper including subjects, type of questions, marking scheme and other test details. The question paper of MAT 2021 includes sections - Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. For each correct answer, one mark is awarded. question carries one mark
For each wrong attempt, 0.25 marks are deducted
