The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is the most prestigious and coveted college for persuasion of mass communication courses in all of India. IIMC conducts an entrance exam to shortlist aspirants for admission in various post-graduate diploma programmes offered at its campuses.

The IIMC 2020 Entrance Exam application forms were released online on May 1, 2020, and will only be available in online mode. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form before the last date of form closure are eligible to sit for the IIMC entrance examination. Candidates will be provided with their respective admit cards a week before the entrance exam. Due to the onslaught of Covid-19, there has been some ambiguity pertaining to the dates but the institute will keep the aspirants informed as per the changes take place.

IIMC has been constantly ranked 1st in Best MassCom college rankings conducted by various bodies like MHRD and India Today Rankings and is the dream of any mass communication student to study at IIMC. It is similar to what IITs are to engineering students, SRCC is to commerce students and IIMs are to management graduates.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Only Indian nationals are allowed to take IIMC entrance test for admission in PG Diploma courses.
  • As per IIMC Entrance Exam eligibility criteria only those candidates can apply for this entrance exam that possesses a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The bachelor’s degree can be in any discipline.
  • Apart from this, aspirants who have already appeared or who are appearing for a degree exam can also apply.
  • Candidates need to produce at least a provisional certificate in original from their college/university latest by August 31, 2020, failing which the provisional admission will stand cancelled.
  • Age Limit:

General Category: Aspirants born on August 1, 1995 or later are eligible to apply.

SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Category: Aspirants born on August 1, 1990 or later are eligible to apply.

OBC Category: Aspirants born on August 1, 1992 or later are eligible to apply.
