HPU MAT 2023- Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test 2023

Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test or HPU MAT is the management entrance test conducted by the Business School of Himachal Pradesh University for admission to its MBA programme. The test is conducted annually in the month of May at various centres across Himachal Pradesh. Around 3,000 candidates appear for the offline exam (paper-pencil). The B-schools offers around 120 seats through this test.

The application form of HPU MAT 2023 is available online only. HPU Business School will release the application form in the first week of April tentatively and the process will continue until the mid of May 2023.

To fill the HPU MAT 2023 application form, candidates would need the scanned copy of their passport size photograph & signature, scanned copy of the candidate’s parent’s signature, passing certificate(s) and mark sheet (s), and a valid mobile number & email address.

The application fee for General and Reserved categories is Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively. The fee can be paid via net banking, credit/debit card and bank challan.

HPU MAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of HPU MAT 2023 states that General category candidates with minimum 50% marks in graduation in any stream from a recognised university can apply for the exam.

The HPU MAT 2023 eligibility criteria is a little different for reserved categories (SC/ST). The candidate belongs to the mentioned categories with minimum 45 per cent marks in graduation are eligible for the exam.

The exam has an age limit of 26 years for boys and 28 years for girls. The maximum age for SC/ST category girls is 29 years.

The age limit is not applicable for non-subsidised students, defence personnel, and nominee of State/Central government of India. Candidates are advised to check the HPU MAT eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
