Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the complete eligibility to appear in CG PET 2023 entrance exam.

General Eligibility:

• Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile: Candidates must have the domicile of Chhattisgarh state.
• Appearing Candidates: Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.

The common eligibility criteria for Engineering:

1. Applicant must be a citizen of India
2. The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should have domicile of the state.
3. There are 3 courses that are offered. The eligibility criteria for different courses are given below:
4. Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
5. The student must qualify in Physics, chemistry, mathematics and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
6. Minimum marks for the general category is 45% an40% for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH)

Syllabus

Physics:

Measurement, Kinematics, Rotational motion & moment of inertia, Work energy & power, Gravitation, Properties of solid & fluids, Oscillation, Waves, Force & laws of motion, Light, Magnetism, Electrostatics, Current electricity, Heat & thermodynamics, Effect of electric current, Electron, photon & radioactivity, Electromagnetic induction & alternating current and Semiconductor.

Chemistry:

Atomic structure, Solutions, Solid States, Chemical bond, Nuclear Chemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Thermochemistry & thermodynamics, Ionic Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry and Surface Chemistry. Principles of metallurgical operations, Chemical periodicity, Comparative study of elements, Transitions metals, Co-ordination compound and Chemical analysis. Chemistry of hydrocarbon, Organic compounds containing organic oxygen, Chemistry in daily life, Organic compounds based on functional group containing nitrogen and Biomolecules.

Maths:

Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions, Integral calculus, Co-ordinate Geometry of Two Dimensions, Differential calculus, Vector Algebra, Statistics, Differential equations, Numerical methods and Information technology.
