Automation being one of the latest trends in all Industries, there is a high need of automation experts to achieve the requirements. Automation and Instrumentation Engineers have a bright future ahead of them as they are needed by almost all Industries in various cadres like Design, Development, Automation, Control, Installation and commissioning, Quality control, Maintenance and Service and so on.  In order to cater the industry's demand for skilled technical manpower as well as to upgrade and train the students in high-end technology in automation field, Instrumentation Engineering department is announcing one-year certificate course in association with Honeywell Automation India Ltd. Pune on “Industrial Automation”. The objectives of this course are to give hands-on training to the students on various automation tools and give industrial exposure so that they can easily absorbed by the industries. This course is designed to benefit students with practical up-to-date information on the latest trends in Industrial Automation. It is suitable for people who have little exposure to process and factory automation field. The information contained in this course advances from the basics to challenge even the experienced engineer in the industry today.

Evaluate the performance of suitable sensors / Process components/ Electronic / Electrical components for building complete automation system.

Analyze real-world engineering problems in the area of Automation and Control.

Design or Develop measurement / electronic / embedded and control system with computational algorithms to provide practical solutions to multidisciplinary engineering problems.
