B.A. Communicative English or Bachelor of Arts in Communicative English is an undergraduate communicative English course. Communicative English refers to that English which helps us to communicate effectively with people using language functions. Proficiency in English is accepted to be an essential requirement for communication at national as well as international levels. The present system of higher education, however, does not fully equip the advanced student for entry into the job market after securing the B.A. degree. Anyway, English comprises the study of literature, linguistics and philosophy of the English language. This is three years duration course.

Minimum eligibility for this course is an intermediate (10+2) in any discipline from a recognised school board or its equivalent.
Admission to this course is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the higher secondary schooling.
