Admission Process for MCA and MBA/MMS Programs 2024-2025

The admission schedule for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Management (MBA/MMS) programs for the academic year 2024-2025 has been released. The process will be conducted in multiple rounds, giving students several opportunities to secure their seats in the desired institutions. Below are the details for each program:

CAP Round-I:

• MCA:

  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 13th August 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 14th to 17th August 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 14th to 17th August 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

• MBA/MMS:

  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 14th August 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 16th to 18th August 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 16th to 18th August 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

In this first round, candidates must verify their allotment, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report to their respective institutes with all necessary documents. Those wishing for betterment can opt for "Not Freeze" and participate in subsequent rounds.

CAP Round-II:

• MCA:

  • Display of Provisional Vacant Seats: 18th August 2024
  • Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form: 19th to 21st August 2024
  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 23rd August 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 24th to 26th August 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 24th to 26th August 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

• MBA/MMS:

  • Display of Provisional Vacant Seats: 19th August 2024
  • Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form: 20th to 22nd August 2024
  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 24th August 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 25th to 27th August 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 25th to 27th August 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

Candidates who missed out in the first round or opted for betterment have another opportunity to secure their desired seat in the second round.

CAP Round-III:

• MCA:

  • Display of Provisional Vacant Seats: 27th August 2024
  • Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form: 28th to 30th August 2024
  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 1st September 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 2nd to 4th September 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 2nd to 4th September 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

• MBA/MMS:

  • Display of Provisional Vacant Seats: 29th August 2024
  • Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form: 30th August to 2nd September 2024
  • Display of Provisional Allotment: 3rd September 2024
  • Acceptance of Seat: 4th to 6th September 2024 (up to 03:00 PM)
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 4th to 6th September 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)

This final round gives candidates a last chance to secure a seat before the Post-CAP process begins.

Post-CAP Rounds:

• MCA:

  • Admission Activities for Vacant Seats: 5th to 11th September 2024
  • Cut-off Date for All Admissions: 11th September 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)
  • Last Date of Data Upload: 11th September 2024 (up to 06:00 PM)

• MBA/MMS:

  • Admission Activities for Vacant Seats: 8th to 12th September 2024
  • Cut-off Date for All Admissions: 12th September 2024 (up to 05:00 PM)
  • Last Date of Data Upload: 12th September 2024 (up to 06:00 PM)

The Post-CAP rounds are for candidates who could not secure a seat in the initial rounds or those looking for available seats in their preferred institutes.

Special Schedule for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh Migrant Candidates:

• MCA Counseling Round: 28th to 30th August 2024 at SIMSREE, Mumbai.

• MCA Reporting to Allotted Institute: 28th to 31st August 2024

• MBA/MMS Counseling Round: 26th to 28th August 2024 at SIMSREE, Mumbai.

• MBA/MMS Reporting to Allotted Institute: 26th to 28th August 2024

This special schedule is set for candidates from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh to ensure they have a dedicated timeline to complete their admissions.

Candidates are advised to adhere to the timelines, keep their documents ready, and monitor the official website for any updates or changes in the schedule.
