Admission Process Begins for B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D Courses in Maharashtra for 2025-26

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the official schedule for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the academic year 2025-26. The process applies to First-Year admissions in B.Pharmacy (4 years) and Pharm.D (6 years) courses offered by Government, Government-Aided, University-Managed, ICT Mumbai, and unaided private institutions across the state.

Dates:

• Online Registration: 7th July to 14th July 2025 (up to 5:00 PM)

• Document Verification (E-Scrutiny/Physical): 8th July to 15th July 2025 (up to 5:00 PM)

• Provisional Merit List Display: 18th July 2025

• Grievance Submission: 19th to 21st July 2025

• Final Merit List Display: 23rd July 2025

Candidates must register on the official website www.mahacet.org and select either E-Scrutiny (online verification) or Physical Scrutiny (offline verification at Facilitation Centres).

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Pharmacy:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

• Must have appeared in MHT-CET 2025 or NEET 2025 (preference given to NEET scorers).

• Students from open schooling, such as NIOS, are ineligible.

For Pharm.D:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology or a Diploma in Pharmacy.

• Must have a valid score in MHT-CET 2025 or NEET 2025 (NEET scorers given preference).

Application Fees:

• General Category (Maharashtra & OMS): ₹1000

• Reserved & PWD Candidates (Maharashtra only): ₹800

• Payment must be made online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

Instructions for Candidates:

• Candidates failing to confirm their application by the Scrutiny Centre or E-Scrutiny mode within the deadline will be disqualified from both CAP and Non-CAP rounds.

• Reserved category candidates must submit valid Caste/Tribe Validity and Non-Creamy Layer certificates (valid till 31st March 2026).

• EWS applicants must present a certificate as per the prescribed state format.

• Any discrepancy during verification must be rectified within the specified timeline; failing to do so, the candidate may be considered under the open category.

Special Notes:

• Candidates applying for Institutional Quota or Non-CAP Vacant Seats must also register and verify documents via the portal.

• All facilitation and scrutiny centres will remain open daily, including weekends, between 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

The option form filling and CAP seat allotment schedule will be announced separately. Students are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.
