Overview:

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Practice) [B. Pharm (Practice)] is a two-year undergraduate course designed for candidates aspiring for admission to pharmacy programs in government, government-aided, university-managed, university departments, and unaided private professional educational institutions in Maharashtra State for the academic year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Citizenship: The candidate should be a citizen of India.

2. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed a Diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
3. Professional Requirement: The candidate should be a registered pharmacist.
4. Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy.
5. No Objection Certificate: The candidate should obtain a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer.
6. Additional Requirements: Any other eligibility criteria and requirements declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

Application Process:

1. Online Registration: Candidates must apply online on www.mahacet.org as per the schedule.

2. Document Submission: Candidates must scan and upload required documents online. There are two modes for document verification: E-Scrutiny and Physical Scrutiny.

• E-Scrutiny Mode: Online verification without physical presence.
• Physical Scrutiny Mode: Physical verification at a designated center.

1. Application Fee:

• General Category: ₹1000
• Reserved Category and Special Categories: ₹800 (non-refundable)

Schedule:

1. Online Registration and Document Upload:

• Start Date: 12-07-2024
• End Date: 20-07-2024 (up to 05.00 PM)

1. Documents Verification and Confirmation:

• Start Date: 13-07-2024
• End Date: 21-07-2024 (up to 05.00 PM)

1. Provisional Merit List Display: 23-07-2024
2. Grievance Submission:

• Start Date: 24-07-2024
• End Date: 26-07-2024 (up to 05.00 PM)

1. Final Merit List Display: 28-07-2024

Important Notes:

1. If candidates fail to confirm their application either online or at a Physical Scrutiny Center, their application will be rejected.
2. Reserved category candidates must produce relevant certificates (e.g., caste validity, non-creamy layer certificate) during verification.
3. Candidates with incomplete documents will be treated as General category candidates for admission purposes.
