Important Instructions for Document Submission – Engineering & Technology Admissions 2025-26
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, has released the list of required documents and submission guidelines for candidates seeking admission to First Year Undergraduate Technical Courses in Engineering and Technology (4 Years) and Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated 5 Years) for the Academic Year 2025-26.
Instructions:
Use the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to upload documents.
Allowed file formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG
Maximum file size per document: 500 KB
List of Mandatory and Applicable Documents:
Certificate of Indian Nationality in the candidate’s name (Mandatory)
School Leaving Certificate showing place of birth in Maharashtra (Mandatory)
Caste Certificate clearly stating the category and recognition as a backward class in Maharashtra (If applicable)
Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate issued by the Maharashtra Validity Committee (If applicable)
Non-Creamy Layer Certificate valid up to 31st March 2026 (If applicable)
SSC Marksheet/Certificate (Mandatory)
HSC Marksheet/Certificate or 3-Year Diploma Certificate (Mandatory)
JEE (Main) 2025 Score Card issued by NTA (If applicable)
MHT-CET PCM 2025 Score Card (Mandatory)
Passport Size Photograph (Mandatory)
Signature of the Candidate (Mandatory)
Clarifications:
Domicile Certificate from the Maharashtra authorities is valid. In case of the mother’s domicile, marriage certificate and supporting legal documents (if name changed) must be submitted, along with the birth certificate clearly mentioning the mother’s name.
Candidates from VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, SEBC, and OBC categories must present a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate to claim reservation. Candidates from the Creamy Layer are not eligible for reservation benefits.
