First-Year Engineering Admissions 2024-25
The Final Merit List for the 2024-25 First Year Engineering admissions has been published. Candidates can now check their merit status online. From August 9th to 11th, 2024, candidates can submit and confirm their Option Form for CAP Round-I through their login.
The Final Merit List was released on August 8th. Candidates should verify their details, including Name, Date of Birth, Marks, Gender, and Percentile.
You can select up to 300 options in the Option Form based on your marks and percentile. It’s essential to understand the terms used after the allotment:
Auto Freeze: If you are allotted your first-choice college, this option automatically freezes your selection. You must accept the seat online and submit your documents offline. Failure to do so disqualifies you from participating in subsequent rounds.
Freeze: This option is for when you want to accept the college you’ve been allotted. To confirm your seat, you must pay online and visit the college offline to complete your admission.
Not Freeze for Betterment: If you wish to hold your current seat while waiting for a better option in the next round, choose this option. However, if a new college is allotted in the next round, it will replace your previous selection, and you cannot revert.
Important: Ensure you fill out a new option form for each round, as failing to do so may affect your chances of getting a better college.
