OBC quota in govt scholarship The Centre has decided to extend OBC quota to the National Talent Search Examination for Class X students from 2019. The scholarship amount may also be raised to Rs 5,000 per month in the next couple of years and the number of scholarships may be doubled to 2,000 annually .Currently , 15% scholarships are reserved for SC students, 7.5% for ST and 3% for people with disabilities.
