The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the registration session for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 will conclude today, October 31, 2023. On the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in, students can register for the scholarship, while previous year recipients can renew their candidature.
The CBSE gives the scholarship to single girl child students who scored 60% or higher on their Class 10 test. Applicants must be in Classes 11 and 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school with a monthly tuition charge of no more than Rs 1,500.
Students who have applied for the scholarship must have their applications verified by November 7. If the school does not validate the applications, they will be denied. The processing of application is submitted to the school where the student is enrolled. Students in Class 12 who wish to extend their scholarship must have received 50% or above in Class 11.
The board issued a circular, which reads, “The other details and eligibility conditions along with the online application form will remain the same and are available on Board’s website i.e. www.cbse.gov.in at Scholarship Link.”
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the main website link and then on the scholarship application link.
Step 3: Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 4: Download the application form and take a printout for further reference.
