Joint Initiative by IPL and NPC Offers Opportunities for Youth Empowerment and Rural Development

ICRO Amrit Internship Programme 2024 Promotes Skill Development and Agricultural Awareness

In a collaborative effort aimed at fostering youth empowerment and rural development, Indian Potash Limited (IPL) and the National Productivity Council (NPC) have launched the ICRO Amrit Internship Programme 2024. This initiative, operating under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, seeks to engage Class 12 graduates, final-year students, graduates, and diploma holders in a transformative learning experience.

The primary objective of the programme is to promote productivity-related employment and enhance vocational skills among youth and rural populations, while also fostering awareness about agricultural productivity enhancement. Selected interns will not only receive a monthly stipend of ₹6,000 but will also be awarded a completion certificate upon successful participation.

Eligible applicants, aged between 18-45 years and possessing a valid Aadhaar card, are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in agriculture or related sectors. The application process is straightforward, involving registration on the official website and submission of required documents, including a letter of recommendation in the prescribed format.

Interns will be stationed at IPL/NPC regional offices or headquarters, with the internship initially spanning a duration of 3 months, extendable up to 4 times. Throughout their tenure, interns are expected to demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a cooperative attitude, adhering to workplace decorum and etiquette.

The selection of interns will be based on recommendations from a committee established by IPL/NPC. This programme, while providing valuable learning opportunities, does not guarantee subsequent employment with NPC/IPL/ICRO.
