Delhi EWS Admission 2024: The Directorate of Education, (DoE) Delhi has commenced the admission process for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category students in private schools in Delhi for the 2024-25 academic year. The Delhi EWS Admission 2024 last date to apply will be May 15, 2024. Interested students and their parents can apply online for the Delhi School EWS Admission 2024 at edudel.nic.in.
According to regulations, private schools are required to set aside 25 percent of their seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students, disadvantaged groups, and children with special needs (CWSN). The distribution of these seats is conducted via a computerised lottery system. The computerised draw is set for May 20th. Moreover, all applicants must have permanent residency status in Delhi. To be eligible for the EWS category, the household income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh annually.
Delhi School EWS Admission 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria
- For preschool/nursery admission in the EWS/DG category, children must be between 3 to 5 years old.
- For preschool/nursery admission in the CWD/CWSN category, children must be between 3 to 7 years old.
- For pre-primary/KG admission in the EWS/DG category, children must be between 4 to 6 years old.
- For pre-primary/KG admission in the CWD/CWSN category, children must be between 4 to 8 years old.
- For primary/Class 1 admission in the EWS/DG category, children must be between 5 to 7 years old.
- For primary/Class 1 admission in the CWD/CWSN category, children must be between 5 to 9 years old.

- Certificate of disability

Step 1: Go to the official website-- edudel.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the admission link
Step 3: Now register and fill out the application form
Step 4: Upload all the required documents and click on the submit button
