The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) in a latest notification has informed that the evaluation of answer sheets of the Bihar Matriculation (Class 10th) annual board examination 2020 has been postponed till April 14, 2020.
Following the nationwide lockdown announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, the Board had postponed the BSEB Class 10th Answer Sheet Evaluation till March 31, which has now been extended till April 14.
As per the BSEB notification, the evaluation process for matriculation examination will be resumed after further notice.
Last year, the BSEB Board had released results of BSEB Class 10 and 12 examinations in the month of March and April respectively.
This year, a total of 15,29,393 students including 7,83,034 girls appeared for BSEB Class 10 exam that was conducted from February 17 to February 24 at 1,368 exam centres across the state.
The results of BSEB class 12 board exam 2020 was declared on March 24, despite the pandemic situation due to coronavirus spread. This year's overall pass percentage was 80.44%.
The result of the Bihar Class 10 board exam is likely to be declared by last week of April or first week of May 2020. The BSEB students who appeared for the Bihar Matric Board exams 2020 are advised to keep checking the official website for latest updates.
