The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results for Term 2 examinations of classes X and XII by the end of July 2022, a board official told the media.
The evaluation process is being conducted as per the timelines, and the students will soon be notified about their results.
The Board is aiming to advance the schedule of the result declaration, keeping in view the UG admission schedule of various institutions. The Board has been in touch with the authorities concerned to protect students’ interests.
With the result declaration, students can check their scores for Term 2 exams of classes X and XII on the official websites at cbse. gov. in or cbseresults. nic. in
In 2022, the Board exams were divided into two terms.
Though both term exams were conducted in offline mode, Term 1 had MCQ, Term 2 had subjective questions. In Term 1, the students had to attempt questions based on the OMR, and each question carried equal marks that added up to a total of 40 marks. Term 1 exams were conducted in November-December 2021.
The Term 1 results were declared in March. CBSE had sent the scorecards of class X and XII students to their respective schools, rather than releasing it online. The Board had further said that a combined marksheet of both terms will be released following the declaration of Term 2 results. A CBSE official had earlier said that the performance of most students in Term II exams will be better than in Term I exams since Term II exams had subjective-type questions which allows evaluators to assess the students writing skills,.
