NEET UG (MCC) Admissions 2024 : Important Guidelines

PUBLISH DATE 15th August 2024

Timely Registration:

Ensure that you complete the registration process on the MCC website before starting the choice-filling process.
Payment of Fees:
- Pay the required Non-Refundable Registration Fee and Refundable Security Deposit during the registration process. The security deposit will only be refunded to the account from which the payment was made.
Choice Filling and Locking:
- Candidates must exercise their choices and lock them during the specified choice-filling window. Choices can only be locked once, and changes cannot be made after locking.
Use of Latest Browser:
- To avoid technical issues, use a laptop or computer with the latest version of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Windows, or iOS while filling in and locking your choices.
Order of Preferences:
- Carefully prioritize your choices based on your preferences. The order in which you select and lock your choices will significantly impact seat allotment.
Multiple Rounds:
- If not allotted a seat in Round 1, you can directly participate in Round 2 without fresh registration. Make sure to review and modify your choices if needed for subsequent rounds.
Fresh Choices in Each Round:
- Fresh choice filling is mandatory for candidates who are registering for the first time in Rounds 2 and 3. Ensure that you submit new choices for each round if applicable.
Physical Reporting:
- After seat allotment, candidates must physically report to the allotted college with all original documents. Reporting is mandatory for confirming the seat.
Upgradation Option:
- If allotted a seat in an earlier round, candidates can opt for upgradation in subsequent rounds. However, if upgraded, the candidate must take relieving from the previously allotted seat before joining the new one.
Forfeiture of Security Deposit:
- Failure to report to the allotted college after a seat has been allotted will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and elimination from further rounds of counseling.
Stray Vacancy Round:
- Fresh registrations are required for the Final Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates must join the allotted seat in this round, or they will be debarred from the NEET examination for the next year.
No Claim on Previous Seats:
- Candidates who accept an upgraded seat in a subsequent round will lose any claim on the previous seat
