Schedule for Second Round Counseling of Group A - MBBS & BDS Courses & Group C - BPTH/BOTH/BASLP/B P&O/B.Sc.Nursing Courses

This office has completed the first round of counselling process of NEET-UG-2022. At the end of first round, there are few vacant seats. The schedule to fill vacant seats of MBBS/ BDS Courses (Group-A) & BPTH/BOTH/BASLP/B P&O/B.Sc.Nursing Courses (Group-C) in Government/ Corporation/ Government Aided/ Private Unaided/ Minority Colleges through Second Round of counselling will be as stated below:

The above schedule is subject change as per the direction of various authorities like MCC / AACCC / Central Government / State Government / Hon'ble Court.
The Schedule for subsequent CAP Round(s) of MBBS/ BDS courses (Group A) & BPTH/ BOTH/ BASLP/ B(P&O) and B.Sc (Nursing) courses (Group C) will be declared in due course.

NOTE :

Following types of Candidates are eligible for seat allotment in Round-2

Registered candidates who did not fill choices in Round-1.
Registered candidates who participated in Round-1 but did not get any seat allotted in round 1.
Registered candidates, whose seat allotted in Round 1 got cancelled during the document verification due to his/her invalid/wrong claim on reporting for admission to the selected Institute, but candidate is otherwise eligible for selection with change in the invalid/wrong claim. For such a candidate, selection during first round will not be valid and he/she will be eligible only on available seats during second round with corrected claim.
Candidates who have reported/joined at allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and did not filled Status Retention Form.
Candidate who did not join the allotted seat during Round-1.
Candidate who has joined and resigned upto the last date of joining Round-1.
Candidate will have to fill fresh choices for Round-2. Round-1 choices will be considered as null & void.
If a candidate is not interested to participate in Round-2, he/she should not fill preferences for Round-2 and such a candidate who has joined during Round-1, will retain his/her Round-1 seat.

Note : For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/ colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/ Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.

Urgent Attention Candidates and Colleges of MBBS/BDS

In reference to State Round-1 of UG Counselling 2022, schedule for reporting is over on 04/11/2022. It is for information that joined candidates of MBBS/BDS courses can resign the seat of Round-1 up to 05.00 pm of 20/11/2022, after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and same rules will apply on them as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling.

Candidates are advised to ensure that they receive system generated acknowledgement from the college, failing which the cancellation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’. In such a case, candidate will be deemed to have occupied the seat still, and rules of Round-2 will apply. Any letter other than system generated acknowledgement will not be considered eligible.

In case candidate has not filled Status Retention and is not upgraded, he/she cannot resign the seat allotted in Round-1 and will have to retain the seat. In such a case rules of Round-2 will apply since the candidate has exercised choices and participated in Round-2. There is no option of resignation if candidate is not upgraded in Round-2.

Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in Round-2 nor resign the seat of Round-1 will be considered as of part of Round-2 after the stipulated time. Hence, candidates who desire to resign their seat of Round-1 should do so before the stipulated time i.e. 05.00 pm of 20/11/2022.

This notice is only for candidates joined in MBBS/BDS courses in State Couselling.
